One-third of the way through our summer

and we're often asked how the boys have been enjoying their freedom from school work. Here's a summary of some of the activities they've been enjoying:

Finishing up their spring soccer instructional soccer league

Endless searching for critters, including a couple of spotted lizards

playing in the rain

 discovering sealife - in this instance, shrimp

quahoging with their Poppa

practicing their kayaking (and gaining a little independence in the process)

fishin'

watching Power Rangers

climbing trees

splishin' & splashin'

learning to appreciate solitude & marveling at  God's amazing creations

jumping on the trampoline

chasing birds (and dreams)

playing video games

Add to that a trip to the ballpark to see the PawSox, Bumper Boats, batting cages, swimming, and that about sums up our first month of summer.  By summer's end one thing is for sure - Mike and I will be exhausted - and the boys will still be fully charged.
