The good news is

The Good News is, Mike's Dr. appointment in Boston, to get the results of the second CT Scan & EEG went very well. He does need to have another set of tests done in 3 months to clarify a slight widening in one artery to the brain isn't a thinning of the wall. Dr. doesn't feel it is in anyway related to the seizure he had back in March, but to be on the safe side...


The Bad News is, they scanned his head and didn't find ANYTHING. Get it? Okay, bad joke. 


The Good News is, we are MORE than 1/2 way through his 6 month period of not being able to drive. 6 days MORE than half. Yup, we've survived 3 months and a week of going EVERYWHERE together.


The Bad News is, there are still almost 3 months that he can't drive and I'm not sure how many more "fun" trips to Home Depot I can take. A woman has her limits you know.


The Good News is, the commute in was uneventful.


The Bad News is, it took almost 2 hours 45 minutes to get back home. 


The Good News is, with 4 passengers we qualified to take the HOV lane on the drive home.


The Bad News is, the HOV lane moved slower than the Expressway traffic, and once you realized that it was backed up, you were...stuck in the HOV lane.  Never had THAT happen before!


The Good News is, when we return in September for the final tests, we're scheduling it AFTER the 18th - when Mike can drive again.


The Bad News is, we made yet another trip to Home Depot on the way home. This time it was to buy fuses for the microwave. 


The Really Good News is, this too shall pass!
