Checked-in, Unpacked, Relaxin'

Sabaka made a last minute check to be sure he had packed everything he needed... and then waited patiently for the rest of us to get our stuff packed up and loaded.

We left home mid-morning, stopped for gas & lunch, then made our way here to our timeshare on Cape Cod. Once here we unpacked a bit, took a coffee break, played a game of Risk while the boys explored their new digs for the next two week, then Mike took them swimming in the pool while I finished unpacking unhindered. Another short break and we were off to the grocery store for a week's worth of groceries, then back to our Unit for our Gotcha Day dinner and special dessert. Harry picked out some yummy cupcakes at the store and we topped them with some of the personalized M&M's we got for his REAL gotcha day a year ago. We froze a bag to save for just this occasion, and as expected, they're as good today as a year ago. Some say "Harry Holmes" others have pictures of him on them. He got a real kick out of it!

Since Church Services weren't til 11 today, Mike slept in while I got up at the usual time, followed shortly thereafter by Harry. We made breakfast together, and then Harry sipped on some hot chocolate while we waited for the others to get up.

After lunch Mike & Skip played some checkers while Harry & I created all kinds of stuff with the snap together shapes he got from Russia (as part of his Christmas gift this year). A snack of orange wedges for Harry, and now Mike is gonna take the boys outside to ride their bikes since the weather is calling for rain all day tomorrow while Sabaka & I nap. As you can see, he's got a head start on me!
